After one of the monks moved into an office two doors down from the Vocation Office and did some nice upgrading I was inspired to do the same for the Vocation Office. Our formation director, Br. Paul Richards had quotes from the Rule of Benedict placed at strategic locations on the formation floor. Since I have always liked them I decided that it would be nice to have the first sentence of the rule placed at the top of one of the walls in the office. Today that was completed by one of our monks assisted by candidate Issac Lopez.

We also added a Watanabe print (Noah and family urging the animals to board the ark), on the opposite wall, changed out the old chair and file cabinet with two new chairs from our own woodshop and a new lamp (which reads a bit brighter here than in reality!).
It was a great place to work…but now certainly is even better!
