Had a wonderful time in Albany, MN at the Church of Seven Dolors last evening. We had a vocation panel made up of a seminarian from Albany, a married couple from the parish, the pastor, and S. Mary Catherine Holicky of the Sister’s of Saint Benedict in Saint Joseph, MN and of course me. We each told our story and then took questions from the audience. You might notice that adults are also present in the picture. We encourage that as we believe that fostering healthy vocations is a community responsibility. The vocation stories when told with candor are always edifying. It never fails to amaze me the stunning journey that all who earnestly follow God experience.
Below is a view of the crowd toward the end of the question and answer period.
Peace and joy, bpv
